Welcome to Dainty June! We are SO excited for the launch of our summer 2009 collection "She's Like a Rainbow". We've spent many late nights pooling our ideas together to create it, and we are so happy with how the line came together. We think you'll love it as much as we do! Ali, our amazing friend and model, looks so perfect in everything and we're confident that you will too. So let the summer good times roll!!! This summer will be a breeze with our fun & airy cotton dresses and separates that will have you saying, "Bring on the heat!" From the playful rainbow smocking on the "Bright lights" dress to the total and utter awesomeness that is the "Louise" skirt with suspenders, you'll be the happiest girl on the boardwalk.

The name Dainty June is borrowed from one of the greatest musicals of all time, Gypsy. June is a sunny blonde who prances about the stage in a baby doll dress singing to her moo cow named Caroline. Erica & Jen used to harmonize with their mom singing all the Gypsy hits including "Little Lamb" & "Mr. Goldstone" on long car trips. Those of you familiar with Gypsy will recognize the names given to each design, all taken from song titles and lyrics. The fabrics, buttons & trims were also chosen to reflect those fun and colorful memories from our childhood, and we hope they play a part in your best times yet to come .
