About Dainty June:

Dainty June launched in 2009 with their summer collection "She's Like A Rainbow", a colorful display of the company's charming and classic style. June is the combined identity and alter ego of fashion veteran Jennifer Johnson (who created E.C. Star) and the Daking sisters, Jennifer & Erica, of the iconic All-Mighty. Friends for over a decade, once coworkers, and now partners, they each bring to June their own personal style & sensibilities. The Dainty June girl is the kind of girl who would ask a guy to the prom, she could chow down an entire pastrami on rye and still have room for a banana split, she would walk her dog in the rain, cut her own hair, make you tea, and collect buttons in ball jars. She's polite, playful and adventurous. The name Dainty June is borrowed from one of the greatest musicals of all time, Gypsy. June is a sunny blonde who prances about the stage in a baby doll dress singing "Let me entertain you, let me make you smile..." (Erica once used this as her audition song at theater camp ending the number with a "campy" split).

Behind Dainty June:

In 1995 Jennifer Johnson took a job creating E.C. Star Clothing. While there, she held more titles than this page could hold. Her many designs over the years provided the fashion world with an enticing alternative to main stream fashion. Using classic design and silhouettes with a strong salute to mid century style, she skips toward the future with an impressive body of work and experience behind her. After 15 years in the fashion industry, she finally has a collection she can call her own.

Jen & Erica Daking were born and raised in New York just seventeen months apart. Born to musicians and entrepreneurs, they were creative and independent by nature, immersed in the world of music and fashion offered by the city in which they lived. A fascination with Kim Gordon in their early teens had their minds reeling with the possibility of one day having their own club/fashion label/coffee shop on the lower east side. Fast forward to 2001 when they both found themselves working for dear friend Jennifer Johnson at E.C.Star, learning the ins and outs of small business in the fashion industry. Years later, in 2005, they started their own company All-Mighty, a clothing line and website devoted to their love of Boston Terriers, fashion, and all things cute. All-Mighty carries on strong, but they are so excited about Dainty June & to be back in the company of Jen Johnson.
